We’ve heard so much of the Lenovo ThinkPad W700ds. The slide-out screen looks sturdy, and it’s capable of
swiveling 30 degrees forward and any steps in between. The tablet isn’t
going to replace a Wacom anytime soon, but it’ll get the job done in a
pinch. The laptop itself is rather bulky, but you come to expect it with the amount of features packed in.

ASUS AIR3 - Internet Radio for iPods

ASUS, a provider of digital home solutions, has launched the new ASUS AIR3, which integrates an iPod speaker with Internet radio. According to the company, the HDSS (High Definition Sound Standard) certified speakers and the ETL (Embedded Transmission Line) module within the chambers provide natural, real and clear sound quality. read more »

Here at Engadget, we hold a special place in our hearts for Mr. Jason Calacanis, but regardless of whose name is on the pink slip, there’s no denying that the vehicle you’re peering at above just struck all sorts of jealousy in your chest. This Very Orange (seriously) Tesla Roadster is one of the very first to be produced with the revamped drivetrain, and according to the lucky (lucky!) souls over at AutoblogGreen who were able to give it a go, the “new, higher torque motor immediately made its presence felt.” All that aside, we know you’re here for the photos, so head on down to the read link when you’ve got ten or so free minutes to shuffle through. Let’s just say you’ll have a new appreciation for one Drew Phillips (photographer) when you’re done treating your retinas.

Apple’s OpenCL standard near complete in just six months

Apple has reportedly set an industry record by moving its OpenCL
parallel computing standard from its beginnings to imminent approval in
half a year, paving the way for its inclusion in Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
